FAMAH Minor Service

Care for Children and Young People (7 to 17 years)

We care for children and young people aged 7 to 17 who need support outside their immediate family. Every child is different, so we build the care around them, never around a template. Our aim is simple. A child should feel safe, respected and genuinely valued, every single day they are with us.

Our Services Include:

Personal Care and Daily Support Assistance with everyday routines such as hygiene, meals, and organisation, encouraging independence while making sure needs are met.

Educational Support Helping children remain engaged in school or learning programs by providing guidance with homework, study skills, and learning encouragement.

Emotional and Social Development Offering a supportive environment where children can express themselves, build self-esteem, and develop healthy relationships.

Recreational and Enrichment Activities Providing opportunities for sports, arts, cultural activities, and play to encourage creativity, teamwork, and personal growth.

Behavioural and Life Skills Guidance Teaching children essential life skills such as responsibility, communication, and conflict resolution to prepare them for adulthood.

Safe and Structured Environment Making sure every child has access to a stable, caring atmosphere with clear boundaries that promote safety and wellbeing.

FAMAH Minor Services takes a child-centred approach, working closely with families, schools, and local authorities to create personalised care plans. Our trained caregivers and support staff are committed to building resilience, independence, and a sense of belonging.

What age range do you support?

We support children and young people aged 7 to 17. As they get closer to adulthood we also help them plan the move to adult services, so the change feels gentle and never sudden.

Keeping children safe is at the heart of everything we do. Every member of staff is enhanced DBS checked, safeguarding trained and closely supervised. We follow clear safeguarding and complaints policies. We work openly with families, schools and local authorities.

Just get in touch. Call us on (+44) 239 200 4247 or email info@famahhealthcareservices.com and tell us about the child and the support they need. Parents, carers, social workers and schools can all refer. We will arrange a visit and take it gently from there.

Yes, always. Every person who works with a child has an enhanced DBS check, full references and the right training before they start. Nothing matters more to us than a child’s safety.

Yes. We support children with physical and learning disabilities, autism, complex medical needs and emotional or behavioural challenges. We match each child with a carer who suits them as a person, not just their diagnosis.

The safety and welfare of every child in our care is our absolute priority. FAMAH Minor Services operates under a reliable Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy, fully aligned with the Children Act 1989 and 2004. All staff working with children and young people hold an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and receive regular mandatory safeguarding training. Any concerns regarding a child’s welfare are reported immediately in line with our safeguarding procedures.
